I love everything by Miriam Pascal Cohen, so either Real Life Kosher Cooking, RLKC Volume 2, or Something Sweet (desserts only).

The first cookbook I got as a gift as a newly wed was fresh and easy and it was my only one for a while and is still my go to very often

not table for two its more for a kallah whos in israel for shana rishona and wants to make fancy suppers for her husband thats not too complicated bec she never cooked before

I bought Best of Kosher but I think I will return it. Most of the recipes that caught my eye are from cookbooks I already own (Miriam Pascal, Dinner Done, and others). Some of the others call for weird ingredients. I recommend Dinner Done, Real Life Kosher Cooking, or More Real Life Kosher Cooking.
