Has anyone ever made creme brulee and can it be made in advance? id like to make this for dessert on shavuos but dont want to make it last minute.

it's best made fresh, but it can last a couple days in the fridge and still taste really good! Good luck!! Just be sure not to cook the cream and sugar for too long before you add the eggs or you'll end up with really fancy scrambled eggs, ugh!

do it right up to the last step (broiling/flaming the sugar topping) - then before serving add sugar and place under broiler until melted and brown (or bake at a high temp since it's YT and broiling may be tough)
