Yes! Except they approached me. The first time I went out to my best friend in KC, MO... We were in target and I had bought a frying pan and a pot and was talking to her about toveling it. And then someone came up to me to ask some questions bc they had just moved into the area and wanted to know if I knew where stuff was.

Not me.. but my dad did to accompany my Saba a"h (dad's fil.) for his kevurah in Jan. My mom wasn't able to travel by she had covid.

On a happier note. Both my parents flew the day after my sister went into labor they were supposed to go a week later but my nephew came early

Have you ever cancelled a trip last minute.. by last minute I mean less than 24 hours before.

I was making a Bar Mitzvah and a bunch of people came in right at Lich Benching, I did not Bench until about 5-8 minutes before Skieah, yes I am still upset about this- If you live 15 minutes away from me don't leave your house 15 minutes before Lich Benching then try to blame it on traffic
