Hi
My baby is 10 months old and has severe food allergies, dairy being super severe and soy may be allergic. I am going to be weaning and can’t really breastfeed anymore so my options are trying soy formula( in dr office to see if it’s ok) or seeing if I can get hypoallergenic formula such as neocate which for some reason my pediatrician said has dairy protein. When I asked my ped a while ago what formula I can give if I need to he said at this age we can just make sure he eats a varied diet but that kind of makes me nervous
Would appreciate any insight or advice

I'm sorry, your pediatrician seems to be misinformed on this topic. Neocate does not have any fairy protein nor any traces of dairy. It's nutritionally complete and an excellent choice for a child with allergies. There is also a toddler version of it. If you want something with cleaner ingredients, you can try Baby's Only plant-based formula.

Neocate should be good, but be careful because it has potato starch in it, my son reacted horribly to it. I have around 8 cans to give away if you want it (Brooklyn)
