Can this be fixed and is it worth it? I bought a skirt which seemed to fit when I tried it on and noww it is too loose. It has a zipper and button yo fadten it with a pleat line under it. I don't know much about sewing/ tailoring.

A good seamstress should be able to fix it.

As to whether or not it's worth it, it depends on how expensive the skirt was, how much you like it, and how much the tailor will charge you for the work. I assume it's new; if it's old, it's probably not worth the investment.

I don’t know how big it is. Putting an elastic on the waist might be an easy and relatively cheap fix.
