Is it possible to work with more than one child at a time with enhanced SETSS?

I think it depends on the child’s iep but I may be wrong

There are some 2:1 enhanced cases but it's not the usual.

Most cases in order to get approved for enhanced needs to be 1:1.

A lawyer/advocate said most cases of 2+ groups will be denied enhanced rate. They’ve tried numerous and it only went through as 1:1

opening this post again because I am teaching a group next year...
one paperwork I had this year said that if you teach the enhanced student in a group, you can only bill for one student at a time.... this appears to mean that you CAN see more students but only bill for one.... so I am hoping I can do it... any updates? anyone done this?

This sounds sketchy. If you are only allowed to bill for one at a time that indicates, as far as I know, that those students are only allowed to be serviced one at a time.

I have seen enhanced rate kids approved for a group of 2 occasionally. But then you bill for both together.

for anyone who has the forms given when case is enhanced (not through an agency) -- there are a bunch of rules and #16 says... (paraphrasing)... "if student is seen in a group, you agree to only bill for one student."

eta: I don't think that specific form mentions a group size.

Ok I stand corrected. I have never seen that particular form. I've only done regular on my own and enhanced through agencies, never did enhanced without agency, so that one escaped me. Thanks for sharing.

In any case, the student's IEP would still need to mandate that the service is in a group.
