I see no one is answering my question, so I'll replace it with a new one.
What makes you laugh?

What is something you'd want to tell to the teacher(s) of your kid(s) before the upcoming school year?

6 years old is very little - treat her like a little girl!
12 is a lot bigger - but not so much - treat her like she's still young!
And thank you for everything - I know there is so so much that goes into being a teacher, I appreciate it so much!

I remember being very excited to wear my new "school shoes" for the first time. I also remember not wanting to use the school bathrooms and worrying about how I could manage not to.
What helps you when you have a backache?

Uh oh. Are you spying on us? 3 year old still running around here...
If there's a reason for it, I try to deal with the reason.
Tonight it's because she fell asleep on the way home from school and slept for 2 hours.
If there's no reason, I keep bringing her back to her bed, very calmly, again and again. Can't say it works, but that's the current tactic here!
Other methods previously used range from laying with the child, sitting next to her (my daughter likes to hold my hand and play with my thumb!) singing, letting her go to sleep in my bed (and move her into her own once she's sleeping), or just letting her stay up and play while I do what I have to do in the house until she actually asks to go to sleep!
At what point do you move your children from a crib to a bed? Do you use a toddler bed? Bed rail? Or straight to a regular bed?

It depends on the kid some of my kids slept in a crib until 3+ others were out a little after a year.
Some started out on a mattress on the floor others with a toddler bed, and some strait in a regular bed. It depended on what we had in the house, how much room, and what was the most practical for that kid.

Some sort of light fixture/flower thing my neighbor had.
What do you do when your little kid needs the bathroom seconds before the bus is due to arrive? (Just happened. Bh we caught the bus. Unzipped jacket, untucked shirt n all.)

I can't remember the last time I did. Unless you count Lakewood to Brooklyn in bad traffic...
If it was a family wedding, I definitely would.

Hats, berets, caps, and the occasional bandana or kerchief.
Do you exercise regularly? If so, what kind of exercise?
