london broil - soy sauce + italian dressing. thats IT. if you like things on the sweeter side maybe add like 1/4 c honey or br sugar
french or brick roast - ketchup, br sugar, onion soup mix, whatever wine I have left over from week before, red wine vinegar, honey, garlic, pepper
then while its roasting I pour italian dressing on top
really simple always gets finished down to last piece.

I got this recipe from a friend. 1/3 c each water, ketchup, tamari sauce and brown sugar. Mix together. Let marinate overnite if you can. Hope this helps.
