We went to the country and attended day camp on site from 10:00 till 3:00. The rest of the time we shmoozed, played ball, jumprope, "belts", hide and go seek/free for all, biked, made clubhouses, fought about who belonged to which clubhouse and who wasn't allowed to join, made carnivals, went swimming and night swimming, played board games, word games, baked in one person's bungalow, had sleepovers when someone's mother went away for a night, caught frogs and salamanders, ... Tons of fun!

And your mother was a SAHM.
And your father stayed in the shmoiling city by himself and went up every Friday and went home every Sunday for 8-10 weeks every year.
