Definitely off a recliner as your feet are lifted up & you still need to close the recliner to get up

What do you do when s kid wakes up in mid night hungry.

My toddler went to sleep on recliner when she was served her chicken for dinner. She woke up before crying she's hungry. I gave her, her chicken, but she didn't even eat it.

I can't remember that happening recently. I guess it would depend if I felt the child was really hungry or not. If she didn't eat dinner, I would find something for her to eat. Though probably something lighter, to tide her over till morning, not a real meal. Sometimes kids wake up and just want to eat, so the "I'm hungry!" is not really hungry. In that case I would try to get them to go back to sleep, "you'll eat breakfast in the morning."

Do you have any plans for lag baomer?

We have a river right next to my neighborhood, probably goes into the ocean.

What do you do with a kid who doesn't listen to the doctor?

I bribe him/her. Whatever it takes.

Do you wish you were in Meron right now?

Perhaps the right thing would be to answer - "yes," since it's such a holy place to be on Lag B'Omer. Truthfully, I would be scared to travel there this year, it's still too fresh in my mind last year's tragedy, Hashem Yerachem and may Hashem Protect all the people who did travel to Meron.
My dh is also not going to Meron this year, not because he's scared. He feels he doesn't have the koiach for the crowds this year. Even though it is less crowded b'H, (I watched on livetream) may it continue so throughout Lag B'Omer, there are still loads of people there ke'h.

Do your girls' school and boys' Talmud Torah do something to celebrate on Lag B'Omer?

Nope, didn't even think of it yet. I still haven't "landed" (like a plane lands on the runway) from after my surgery.

What's your favorite cheesecake? (what does it contain that makes it special to you?)

My family still likes the old fashioned "rebetzins" cheesecake best

When do you eat dairy on shavuos? Kiddush? Meal?

What is the "Rebetzins" cheesecake?

Shavous morning. Light seudah.

How often do your children speak to your parents and in-laws - their grandparents, on the phone?

It's the original Hungarian Satmar rebetzins cheesecake that appeared in first heimishe Nitra cookbook.
Cookie crumbs on bottom & top with cheese filling in center made from farmer cheese

At the 2nd Pesach seder when we were all rested and dh and my boys were singing beautifully.

What do you do to unwind after a busy noisy day?
