Can anyone recommend a cheap online swing set with slides that held up well? I know about all the jewish and amish companies looking for cheaper ideas. The kidkraft sets have mixed reviews online and some look like they are only good for toddlers. Anyone have personal experience? Prefer if it can handle up to 10 years old.

Please don't cheapen out on playground equipment. It's too risky. I'd only get a top quality set.

20 years ago we got a set at Home Depot. You have to add own wood.
Over the years we’ve had to repair diff pieces but it held up pretty decent.
Look for one piece slide

We bought a cheap swingset for walmart about 3+ years ago. Was $750 and my husband installed it himself. I dont remember if it was kolcraft but it similar quality. The kids use it quite a lot. It does not look as sturdy and long lasting as the more expensive types my neighbors have, but it is holding up so far. Also it is a bit lower, but my teens can still sit on the swings. There is a hammock type of swing that everyone likes to use. At the end of the day, it remains of cheaper quality. Without maintenance ( my husband readjusted it at the begining of every summer and will repaint it this year) I dont think it can last more than 5 years. But if you are handy you can probably keep for way longer.

We have a lifetime set that we bought at Costco I think it was about 1500. We installed it ourselves. I have it for a year and it looks super sturdy. My kids ranging in ages from 2-16 all use it. Has a double slide with a little house/roof, climbing wall and 3 swings.
I couldn't be happier.

It's not exactly this but very similar

Edited to add the Costco link, I see it's more expensive now but everything went up in price.

Get a lifetime one!

That’s what we did and I’m so so happy with it. We have had it for around 2 years now and it still looks amazing. I know people who have had theirs for at least 6 years and going strong.

I see someone already suggested the Costco one. The adventure tower and adventure tunnel are also good choices and can be found for $1700-$2100 (look at Walmart, Home Depot and Amazon).

I got a used one from Craigslist 10 years ago and it's still used constantly. We've had a handyman make repairs every 2-3 years. It was free, just paid someone to transport and rebuild it- $500 - originally it was between 4-5,000
