A homemade muffin. A cute sticker. A nice note.

A place you visit rarely.

Beets. I love them but the rest of my family can't stand them.

A cosmetic product you really appreciate.

so many things, b'H, difficult to think of only one thing

I'm ever so grateful to Hashem for my husband, children, grandchildren, ke'h
for my dearest friends on imamother
that I'm alive
that I'm a G-d fearing Jew
that we are zoche to live in Eretz Yisrael
that my parents instilled strong Torah and mentshlichkeit principles in me and my siblings
that I can daven, read, write, see, smell, hear, feel, touch, understand, talk, love other people, feel their pain, rejoice in other's simchas ...
that we have a roof over our heads, water in the taps and esp. hot water, heating in the winter and quilts to keep us warm, it's not raining in, gas, electricity, a phone that works........ and more
Thank you Hashem!
and above all, the awareness to be grateful for all that Hashem Has Blessed us with!
May Hashem Help me to constantly remember to be grateful to Him! This is something that I find needs constant working on.

There are so many things from the most minute to the big things that one can be grateful to Hashem for. Just start listing them and you'll see how many things you come up with.

Thank you sincerely "Tof Umachol" for asking this very important question.

Disclaimer: My apologies for getting carried away here in my excitement. I really hope I didn't come across as arrogant. That was certainly NOT my intention.

Something you're looking forward to on Pesach, iy'H?

Thank you, simcha4, for your uplifting gratitude post!

I love Pesach beet salad and borsht. Also our Pesach potato-tuna casserole. My kids really enjoy my Pesach apple cake and brownies, which they say they like better than the chametz versions!

A game (or fun activity) you discovered recently.

No takers here. I'll suggest another -

A way to show your children you appreciate them.

Thank them using specifics, also state why something they did/do makes a difference to you.

We have the kids plan or create games for us all to play at the Seder.

Something you remember about the Seder from your childhood.

Ooh so many things!
We spent sedarim at my grandparents for many years-
Squishing with all the cousins into my grandmother's very small dining room
My grandmother's signature charoses recipe that everyone loved
Certain tunes of songs we used to sing
Taking a nap on the first afternoon (prep for second seder) and waking up to people filling the house
My father asking the children very simple questions so they'd get the right answer, but always filled with emunah
(Thanx for that question - that was fun reminiscing!)

Something lost that you found while Pesach cleaning (if not this year, then any year!)

A key to our house!

Something you are finally repairing or replacing now that it is Pesach time.

A part in the taps over the fleishig sink. It was dripping for ages, on Friday Erev Shabbos HaGadol it started flowing. B'H, our son repaired it.

Something you are looking forward to iy'H after Pesach?

Spring weather that doesn't tease you by jumping back to the low 40s two days later. And making it through the entire sefirah count without missing a day.
