I hope that all the ima's here and their families are snug and warm, be'H.

TPBM is less on Imamother b/c she started Pesach cleaning.

Partially true. I'm trying to cut down, not necessarily because of Pesach, but simply because I spend too much time here!

TPBM cleans for Pesach without cleaning help.

Well.. I don't really do a lot of cleaning bc I still live with my folks and my grocery store job is busiest right before pesach so I'm pulling a lot of late nights and Sundays ... I do clean out my car and my room...

Tpbm has a seat in their shower for safety reasons

False, though it's an excellent idea not neccessarily for the elderly but also for after giving birth weakness, etc.
our showerhead is attached to the bathtub taps, so we shower in the bathtub.

TPBM tries to think how to handle a behavior or action of her children and doesn't just react spontaneously in the heat of the moment.

I just this. Bc I get tired easily. And safer when shaving to put legs on stool then on bathtub wall. This fits in tub easily. And was covered by FSA money for those in USA.

Carex Compact Shower Stool - Adjustable Height Bath Stool and Shower Seat - Aluminum Bath Seat That Supports 250lbs https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0.....psc=1

No kids so I'm leaving simcha4's tpbm out for grabs

I'd like to say true. I definitely try!

TPBM still (as an adult) enjoys children's story tapes/cds

Also known as dulce le leche.

True. Usually.

Tpbm is concerned about the cost of making Pesach.

Thank you for telling me the definition of Ribat Chalav.

True, as every year. But not overly concerned b/c when the worry pops into my mind, I tell myself over and over that Hashem Will Send us ALL that we need for Pesach!
How? When? From where? That's not my worry. That's Hashem's business.

"A relative of mine once said to me, "Hashem does not need a secretary. He can Manage His World on His own perfectly well!"

These wise and oh so true words resonate constantly through my mind. Sometimes I need to make that extra effort of internalizing these words even stronger in me.

______________

TPBM lives in a country where the clock has been moved an hour forward - DST.

(I always wonder why it's called - 'moving the clock'; it's the time that's being moved not the clock?
I'd appreciate if anyone who knows the answer to this can kindly explain.)
TIA

True. I was actually just wondering if it was moved in E"Y as well.
As for the term moving the clock, I would actually say "changing" the clock. So that makes sense, because it is changed. But I'd imagine there's no deep reason either way.

TPBM is spending part of Pesach away from home.

Oh, and I was wondering if the time has been moved in America and England Smile

In E'Y they say "mazizim et ha'she'on" - moving the clock, so I guess that's why I wrote - move.
"Changing the clock," also sounds not the same to me - we don't actually change the clocks in our homes to different clocks. Again, it's the time we change.

Oh well, I suppose, one doesn't have to know the reason for everything.

IY'H, The Seder night/first day Yom tov at one of our children.

TPBM was busy today and didn't do Pesach cleaning today.

I always find the one Seder thing to be so strange to me. When you say, the Seder night, I'm wondering what about the second night and day and why you won't be in the same place for the first two days! Yes, I know it's the way it's supposed to be, and the extra night/day in chutz l'aretz is just that- extra, but I just can't imagine only doing it once!

False, Baruch Hashem! Was busy with lots of cleaning and baruch Hashem accomplished.

TPBM had a child wake up after going to sleep tonight.

I did until a few weeks ago. On Shabbos we were talking about taking it up again, iy'H.
My chavrusa is my darling 17 year old daughter. We used to learn the daily Shemiras HaLashon.
Mesilas Yeshorim. Halachos - the halachos that she was learning at the time in school, we learned it together at home.
She also tells me about Hashkofa lessons that she learns in school and other Kodesh lesson and we
discuss it together. ke'h.

TPBM buys games for her family for Pesach.

No need for me to buy new toys & games for my kids, I have a surplus, so whatever we get new during year as gift, I put away for pesach right away.

Tpbm accomplished a lot today
