I have some real stunners of my son, but I don't know how to post them on the forum. They are not on home digital camera - they are hard-copy pictures that the photographer gave us. I don't have a scanner either, so, well.... and please, don't even TRY to teach me some complicated ways to get those pics onto this forum!
Mama Bear, do you know where you are going to do your pictures? There is a local veibele who is absolutely amazing! If you are interested, pm me for the info.

Mine is approaching 2 and still has really short hair...I wonder if he's going to have long hair at all before his upsherin...that should be the least of my worries!

Ilovestrollers, what a difference! Not all boys have such a stark difference before and after, but your son's thick wavy hair is (was) really something!

yo'ma- are you sure that's not a girl?? I don't believe you!

I have mine, but they're at home, and I'm not!!

We framed our boys' pictures with a piece of their pony tail in the picture. They're gorgeous!

Okay, Mama Bear, you have the right info. I did our pics at Weiss. The reason why I went there, even though I heard that Azrylewitz is also terrific, is because a neighbor brought out her pictures that were taken at Weiss and when I looked at them I said that I didn't need to research any further, and I instantly scheduled our appt. with Weiss. She is somewhat more expensive than Azrylewitz, and Azrylewitz also does stunning work. I have seen somebody's photos lately and they were done at Azry.
The problem with these photographers is that they charge you per picture that you are taking, but they shoot so many poses and then when you need to choose you just can't say 'no'; each shot is so stunning and if you say that word 'no' then the photographer just hits 'delete' and the photo is gone forever. I bought a lot more than I had originally planned, but I have no regrets now.
I had a very interesting hashgacha pratis story with the photos fee. If anybody wants to hear about it, lemme know....

Hmmm now I'm confused. I already have an appt with Weiss but by Weiss, for $100 I have 7 pics and by Azrylewitz for $90 I have 10 pics, or for $65, 8 pics. Is Weiss really that much better than Azrylewitz? I"m willing to spend the money if it's worth that much. have you seen Azrylewitz's pics too?

I don't know, unless you take really bad pictures, you can take them yourself. No need to shell out absurd amounts for a photographer.
