My son very likely has PANDAS and Dr. Shanon Delany in Columbia was recommended.
Does anyone have any experience with her?

We saw a different neuro at Columbia for pandas. It was a mixed bag experience. Unlike most mainstream neurologists she actually believed pandas existed, but she didn’t think my child’s presentation was classic enough to warrant a diagnosis or treatment. She told us to get worked up for asd. Thankfully I didn’t listen to her, found another dr who was willing to treat, and bh we have a different child today.

Does this psychiatrist treat pandas or just the psychological symptoms from pandas?

I don't really have info on her but I'm guessing she treats the symptoms. She also specializes in Lyme disease

Bumping this up. Recomended to me also for DS with suspected pandas. I know she’s very pricey and would like to know if others were happy before I decide if to see her
