Read about this on motsei shabbat in the Israeli press and in a few US media outlets. For fun, I checked the NYTimes and LATimes websites. Not a peep.
This morning I saw this on the NYTimes:

No mention of the fact that the hostage-taker was the brother of a Muslim Pakistani terrorist who blamed Israel for being caught and jailed, and that his motivation was to use the hostages to negotiate her freedom.

This is really chilling.
Insane how if something does not fit the narrative being pushed today then it does not covered or gets covered in quite a different way.
Anti semitism plain and simple. Targeted as Jews. A synagogue with a big magen dovid on it. Terrorism.
B"H those poor people taken hostage were rescued all in one piece and the terrorist taken down.
We need moshiach now!

I saw someone mention this was a barmitzva being livestreamed, if so horrible to think one of the hostages was a 13 year old kid.  .
Just so random. The pittsburgh shul was a white terrorist who thought Jews were too nice to refugees. This guy seems to think Jews run the US government. 
It could be anyone who hates us!

Thanks raisin for the info -- I had not seen anything about the hostages themselves or a bar mitzvah and in fact media was saying hostages were "only adults".
where did you see this?
