I feel for you. Travelling is so complicated and difficult.
My heart is with you with my hearty Mazel Tov brochos.

My darling Bubbe a"h testing me on timetables, asking me riddles, telling me how life was in the shtetl, as we cooked and baked together and went shopping and I helped her with chores. She made everything such fun and we'd laugh and joke together. I miss her soooooo much.
May she be a gitte beiter for the whole family.

A dish you prepared that had more than 10 ingreds.

Maybe spring/summer clothes,
I would think shmura matzah but just saw at a grocery, on sale, this week.
Also the expensive stores start getting the summer stuff in January. The cheaper local stores only later. I remember that Daffy's used to also get their Italian brand name summer stuff in January & winter ones in the summer.

Comforters at about a third of the usual price. I bought some as gifts.

Happy news that caught you by surprise.

Sometimes when I was pregnant, found out only after a few weeks.

A good sale item that I benefitted recently.

I chanced to pass a store. There was a note on door 40% off everything. Turns out store was closing down, there wasn't much left but I found the same pattern cutlery that I received as a gift but didn't get a full set to serve my family's needs. I got the additional pieces needed for almost half off.

Also this week I found a sweater for my girl to match same color of my toddler's sweater that was passed down from my older girl, and couldn't find this color sweater all winter to match. This expensive store was 70% off so it was reasonably priced, also got a her a skirt in same color of a top, I had bought her, so now bh my girls have some clothes for Pesach which I looked out to buy at the end of season winter sales, which are all year round & can still be worn Pesach. This way when new season comes & they will need new clothes, I won't be paying full price. I don't anymore get at end of winter sales, winter clothes for next winter, because it is very hard to figure out sizing for a year from now.

A nice game for a little girl's birthday party

Treasure hunt (you can plan a few versions with different levels of clues, if you have different age groups at the party). Pass the parcel. Charades. Spontaneous plays: split into groups, each group gets a bag of props and dress-up items, and enact a short play using the items in the bag.

A tefilla that is personally moving or meaningful to you.

Asher Yatzer. As a child, I had terrible IBS and saying this tefilla after every constipated bathroom trip really made me feel like it is all in Hashem's hands.

Something that always makes you laugh out loud.

A sweet thing that our 1.5yr. old grandson does. Words that he says. And the expression on his face when he's about to do something that he knows his Bubby doesn't allow.
He's the only one of our grandchildren ke'h who lives in the same city as us and on the same street!
So I B'H get to see him often.

Something that always makes you think of Hashem.

Great question - really got me thinking. There are actually many. For example, I am happy there are those who think men should learn in Kollel for many years while their wives/in-laws/communities support them.

Something you used to do regularly, which you'd like to be doing again.
