We usually buy more or less only Bdatz for Pesach since tehy do not have kitniyot.
Also be careful of
KEMACH MATZOT
and KEMACH LEMATZOT
A big difference. Former is MAtza meal and teh second is flour used for matza - Sefardim use it . (all those wine cookies are made from it, so is Matza Ashira) Ashkenazim do not use KEMATCH LEMATZOT

almost all cakes/cookies with a Sfardi hechser are not OK for Ashkenazim.
And Matsa Ashira is accepted by most ashkenazim to be used on Erev Pesach for lechem mishne before then end of chametz eating . But check with your LOR. It is not chametz - so you dont have to go and eat it outside. But you do have to eat quite a good amount in order to bench on it.
Have fun !

we usually go to rami levi in talpiot for our shopping, I guess we will try beitar, maybe they will have mayo. |
If you go to Rami Levy in Talpiot, why can't you go to Aleph? | there is an aleph in talpiot?

No - there is no aleph in talpiot.
Beitar is the nearest I think.
There is a Shefa shuk in Talpiot . I am not too impressed with it.

Some Ashkenazi poskim hold that any matza ashira is chometz, because the moment any liquid other than water touches the flour it becomes chometz.
Apart from which there is one brand of matza ashira (Pesach cake and cookies) here in Israel (name begins with a P under Sephardi hechsher) that even many Sephardim will not touch, and many hold to be actual chometz because of the many halachic problems at the plant.
After chatzos (halachic midday) on Erev Pesach, eating chometz is midoiraysa (forbidden by Torah law) - after the 4th hour midrobbonon. The only difference between after chatzos and actually on Pesach is that it is not an issur kareis until Pesach.

I like that Shefa Shuk. It's never too crowded and it's walking distance from us.
