2 things the reason why it didnt work is because you are missing a T in the http in the beginning of the web address or dont copy the entire thing
try it again.

I think he is over doing it A LOT. he has to be more sensative to people.

Proudmom, I think it was cynical type of advert saying that NCSY does kiruv better then the guy acting on the clip.

if anything, this screaming on the streets, stalking innocent ppl, and parading in a train car with cholent make me not wishing to listen to him (I guess, the opposite of what it was supposed to)

my first reaction when watching it was: this is hysterical!

I e-mailed the person who sent it to me and asked: Is this for real?

he wrote back: "Yes, it's very funny.
However, it's produced by NCSY, and I think they are satirizing Chabad's "kiruv" methodology, not themselves. Does anyone from NCSY stand on the street and ask people if they are Jewish?"

I wrote back: so who is this video for? what's their point? can it be just to make fun of Chabad?

he wrote: "I think that the point of it is to show how witty and 'with it' NCSY is. I don't think their goal is to knock anyone else, but they are putting others down to make themselves look up."

I sent it to my parents who wrote back: "I cut and I pasted and I LOLed!"

the next time I watched it, I laughed all over again

once the Chabad connection was made, it was so obvious, Lubavitchers "accost" people, asking them if they're Jewish, wanting to give them brochures, tell them about mitzvos, tell them how their soul yearns for mitzvos ...

I just cannot believe the guy who did it! He's make a great shliach, that's for sure! You can't get more uninhibited! Imagine if he REALLY used it in a normal way to reach people! He'd be dynamite!

are you serious? I didn't find it funny. I found it insulting. If a shaliach acted like that, they wouldn't get anyone. I wouldn't be frum right now.

what makes one person laughs, makes another person roll their eyes or even angry

the person who sent me the link is himself a baal teshuva who found it very funny

to each his own

what I said about a shliach is:

"Imagine if he REALLY used it in a normal way to reach people!"

meaning, his lack of inhibitions would enable him to approach Jews and engage them in a normal way

I couldn't believe what I was seing!
it's sort of funny, but is a complete turn-off.
some of his methods could work, but not so agressively.
May be next time I see it I'll appreciate the humor

I thought it was really funny. I don't think it was making fun of chabad. I thought made fun of NCSY more than anything. Well I have a sarcastic humor.
