Yes. 10th grade bio the teacher started her lesson “beraishes buru elokim”.... and went through days of creation before getting to the human body

You can always do the one with the blank page and how every girl can decide what her artwork will look like at the end of the year depending on the effort she invests.
I seem to remember almost every teacher in elementary starting with that

7th grade in Bruriah. Mrs. P. had a smile of genuine warmth. She was so happy to greet the students. That made an impression on me more than any academic lesson.

10th grade English teacher gave us all a blank piece of paper. Then he told us to draw a big A on it and place it at the beginning of our English binder. Then he said, "this is the only A I'll ever give you" I.e. you have to work for your As.

Still not sure if I liked it or not but sure was memorable

(Quite the ice-breaker sentence, and I’m pretty sure most graduates would remember her first lesson about why it is important to know our roots - that by recognizing the greatness of our ancestors, we will realize our own potential for greatness, because “potatoes don’t grow on orange trees”.)

We moved into the new building between 9th and 10th grade, so I got three years in that new building!

Haven’t lived in LA since I got married. Currently living in the Eastern USA

No U turns- no turning your head to your back neighbors seat

Stop- what you are doing when teacher walks in

This teacher that came in and randomly pointed her two fingers on two students, saying the two of you , switch seats, in elementary. Oh we're we scared.
Then the other teachers in highschool who literally stood at door over five minutes, making everyone stand and looking at them, also sort of some teaching methods probably.
I don't remember anything else much, besides a very Young teacher who was three years older ( me eleventh, she out of seminary,) and had so much control that when she left once during session for two minutes, no one dared speaking. And older teachers with tears of experience couldn't even make us quiet ...
