I am looking for a recipe using gefen japanese style noodles. I used to get it off the Internet on one of those recipe sharing sites but now I can't find it. It's a vegetable lo mein recipe. It has mushrooms, green and red peppers. If anyone has it please share. Thanks!

I actually just made this for the first day yt, was a good all in one meal.
You cook the noodles as it says on the pkg- basically boil in water for few minutes.
I Sautee onions, mushrooms, red and/ green or any color pepper I have, I also like to add squash cubed, sometimes eggplant cubed or brocolli, whatever veg u have or your family likes you can add. Sautee them and I added this time beef stir fry ( spiced it a bit and threw it in to sautee-cook a bit) to make it a beef lo mein. Same can be done with pieces of chicken breast for a chicken lomein.
Then I add the sauce .I usually just mix a frozen garlic cube with soy sauce. maybe add a bit of spices onion or garlic powder .I skip the oil and sugar cuz don't feel it's necessary. But I'll post the exact recipe if your particular to follow exactly as I saw it in the binah- relish a while back.
2 9 Oz pkgsJapanese style noodles
1 onon sliced in half rings
1 green pepper sliced into strips
1 red pepper sliced into strips
1 8oz box mushrooms sliced
Sauce:
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup soup mix dissolved in 1/8 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1 clove garlic crushed
1/3 cup soy sauce
Combine sauce ingredients in saucepan and bring to boil
Mix veg into noodles and pour sauce on top .serve warm
Enjoy!
P.s. I find it works just as well with spaghetti or linguine. .

Wow, 1/4 cup soup mix? I'd skip that part! Sounds awful. But the rest of the recipe sounds great.

Yes. Undercook the noodles.
FYI this is a delicious recipe without the soup mix. You can add salt if necessary.
