Part of WIC program. They come only on Thursday and only one place in my neighborhood that I know of, That's usually reliable. My husband drove me there with car because It's far from my home but when I arrived there weren't any stands there. I don't know if they didn't come at all or left already as they finished selling out already. Oh well...will have to try another time |
Thanks so much for explaining.
It sounds great. I hope that you are successful the next time, be"H.

Usually I make sure that when cooking for the meals before the fast, I cook extra for after the fast.
This year haven't decided yet how to go about it since it's Shabbos seudas before the fast.
And we have the minhag not to eat fleishigs until noontime of the day after Tisha B'Av b/c the Beis HaMikdash was burning until then.
How do you handle the mountain of laundry accumulated from the 9 days? What do you wash first?

I sort. Linens and towels I leave for last. I usually start with a colored load of the kids' clothes. Then a white load of everyones. Then another colored load. Then delicates. Then more whites. And on and on ... But by now the kids are all old enough to help, Baruch Hashem.
What little, everyday occurrence puts a smile on your face?

One Purim, our married daughter gave us a "smiley " Mishloach Manos. The base, she made from styrofoam which she cut into a big circle, covered with yellow materal and colored black smiley eyes and a mouth on it. I took that big smiley and hung it on the wall near my bed, to remind me to smile every day.
An interesting thing just occurred to me now, this smiley hung on my wall for 2+ years. It started getting loose about a month ago, so I stuck it on stronger. Last week Shabbos it fell off the wall, I tried sticking it back on several times, but it kept on falling down. I stood it on a shelf near me and it fell onto the floor. Since then I don't see that smiley face.
Last Shabbos, when it fell off totally, was the first day of the 9 days!!!
I know it sounds like I'm making a big thing from nothing, but it is coincidental. At least to me.

Depends on school rules.
It's cool but now I am thinking they say not to put first names on kippas either because of safety issues, this might cause a safety issue if other people see name displayed in public if she walks to school etc.
Is today's supper and before fast meal same or different meals? Did you prepare already today before fast meal + shabbos meals, besides for supper today?

Kind of. In my husband's family more than mine. But famous is subjective.
Did you invent any interesting recipes lately?

If I didn't eat breakfast and it's already past dinnertime.
If I didn't drink enough.
Pressure.
When I work in one long stretch on my computer.
Do you make sure to eat breakfast on Fridays, or grab a drink and dive straight into Shabbos preps.?
