Can I have the recipe?
Also, can I ask how many people you cook for, and if they are big or little people?

Tofu and vegetables in a Thai sauce (peanuts, cilantro, lime, chili and lots of other stuff)
Coconut rice
Roasted kabocha squash
Chocolate creme brulee |
That sounds so good!
I love Thai food - I made a delicious dairy curry this week. I even added some of the leftover coconut milk to the pea soup - I liked the flavor it gave it. Unfortunately, I like coconut milk a bit too much. I wish it wasn't so fattening!

I use the Lite Coconut Milk (unless it's for guests, in which case I go full fat) but it still tastes really rich, so I imagine it's still very fattening. Add the fat of the ground peanuts and the creme brulee, and I imagine my Weight Watchers weigh-in on Sunday might be skipped. My scale is getting dusty, I'm too afraid to go near it.

On Kosher Quest (I don't know if you accept it) Rabbi Eidlitz says that coconut milk doesn't require certification, unless it's from China. We accept it, although we do usually find kosher coconut milk, not sure if it's regular or lite. I know we've bought Trader Joe's in the past, but this wasn't from there. My husband bought it and I've already tossed the can.

I use the light version as well - it's still like 5 grams of fat and I think 4 grams unsaturated fat. I get it from Trader Joe's. The ingredients consist of coconut milk and water - and according to the KosherQuest list, coconut milk doesn't need a hechsher, but it can't be from China. It tastes just as good as the full fat version.

They scouted but didn't rent anything. Amazing food, great service, pleasant atmosphere. I read an article in the Times about the company, they're really interesting and very progressive.

2/3 Cup Olive Oil
¼ Cup Vinegar

Brush Mushrooms and Onion with some oil and grill for about 15 min on each side.
You can also bake in oven.
Mix everything together. |
I love this salad, if I'm lazy to grill the mushrooms I use cut hearts of palm instead, and I add toasted slivered almonds, it's yum like this.

There is one in Union Square, but I've never been there. I'm on the UWS and they scouted here, but decided against. Don't they know how much I love them?
