I've heard about Neema. It's a very nice, more tame camp.
I am going to say, I don't know many girls coming out of 8th grade going to camp as campers. Most girls I know are either going to sleep away camp, working in backyard camps, or working in big day camps as specialty. Or a combination of the above.
When you call a camp, you might want to ask how many CURRENT 8tg graders they have actually registered.

I know 8th graders going to Neema one half and working in a day camp the other half. Not every girl goes to sleep away camp.

Camp leeba is more fancy
Neranina is more ra ra
Azamra maybe more yeshivish takes chs
Meira is more in middle
Segula and shevach low key for younger girls
