Does anyone do this? has anyone been to one and have had them do their childs nursery?
I recently designed my boys and girl rooms. I think I have a real knack for matching colors, paints, themes, just the design.
any info that can help

aw thats sweet of you. listen, IM not an artsy person in the sense that I cant draw or paint pictures or anything like that. But im awesome at matching colors, patterns, themes, searching for stuff to match exactly. I will try to post pics when the rooms are totaly done.
for my daughter- Tiferes's room I did this:
painted the walls a nice pastel lilac
the crown molding, base boards and windows - a nice shade of pastel pink
the doors- closet and main. the inside rectangle purple, the outside of it-pink. and the raidiator pink
All over the walls , I put butterfly wallies- which is the theme.
she has a butterfly rug, and cute butterfly laundry hamper as well as the matching purple gingham storage boxes with the purple liners.
coming, is a butterfly shelf with same shades of pink and purple.
butterfly music doll thing that hangs on her crib
floral- pink and purple wall border.
butterfly wall hooks coming
pink gingham roman window shades
pink letters spelling out her name hung by purple lacey ribbon
my boys room is all blue, with white crown molding and base boards. airplane bedding, airplane wall border, airplane wall hooks, airplane wallies all over the room, ariplane pillow, airplane name plate saying "dovid and yomins room"
I had so much fun doing it, it did cost a lot of money, but I see it as an investment

I'm actually in school right now studing interior decorating. It's so much funny putting rooms together. I love seeing a finished product after I worked on it.
Its the small things that make the room.

I have to get down to business with my boys' room.
I'm not into the hassle of painting, but I made the theme green and orange. The light green and primary orange that match.
I just try to get every accessory I can in that color. But without painting the walls it's not the same.
