My brother called my for advice on what he can get his wife for their anniversary this week. He doesn't want to buy jewelery (he doesn't have $500+ right now to spend, and would only invest in a nice piece his wife would appreciate)
Can be a gift or just ideas on what he can do for her.
Because of a recent kosherous problem with a local restaurant, he isn't going to restaurants until his Rav confirms what happened, so don't suggest a restaurant.
He's spend up to a couple hundred dollars.

I'm remaining anonymous cuz I have no idea if my sil or any of her close friends are on this site.

Does he live in Miami? It might be nice to get a babysitter for the day (if they have kids) and rent a boat. He can pack a picnic lunch and they can eat over the water. Then even if he ends with a smaller gift, it will always have the attached meaning of a very special day together.

It's the only place I know where the majority of people only trust one hashgacha and where there is a recent kashruth problem at a restaurant. If it were in a bigger city, he would be able to go to another restaurant under a different hashgacha. If it was in a smaller city, I probably would have heard about it.

A day at the spa? Depending on where and what the treatment is it doesn't have to be $500. A friend once gave me a birthday treat of a Swedish massage..oh did I feel wonderful! She came to my house and ipened up a table in the kids room.

Very nice. It should come with a day away from the kids, or at least an hour or two.
