Well I speak yiddish too. And understand tiny bits of Spanish. But English is my main language so it's easier for me.

Wed. & Thurs. Preparing for Shabbos days + daily life to-do's. Don't have cleaning lady so we do all heavy cleaning ourselves. Shopping for Shabbos takes time b/c not always have funds just then. But, B'H, since I joined the fantabulous Chatzos group about 15 years ago, and learned how to prepare for Shabbos in a completely different manner than I'd been doing until then, I don't leave everything for the end of the week. I know it's hard to believe, but Baruch Hashem Friday is the calmest day with the least to do. May Hashem Help that it continue so.
Unfortunately the email Chatzos group had to close about 6-7 years ago. I really miss it. But the Chatzos concept became part of me and still is. B'H.

I agree, I also very much like the Yiddish songs of Motti Illowitz. He has a real talent, ke'h.
Shabbos was nice, b'H. Could relax - no threat of shooting missiles or sirens suddenly wailing. Hodu L'Hashem Yisbarach. May it be His Will that it continue so.

We don't; we throw away or give away stuff that hasn't been in use for a long while.

Yes, I do. I also like lemon or lime flavored seltzer. (I used to drink a lot of diet sprite but I mostly weaned myself off that. Still indulge occasionally.) When I am tired and have to drive I drink coffee or diet coke.

Good question!
1 - I talk a lot to Hashem as if kivyachol I'm talking to a person. I tell Him every detail of how I feel. What factors are so difficult for me. I may start crying while talking to Hashem. After all I'm talking to my Father that Loves His daughter. I tell Him how I feel sorry about something I did or said that might have not been so right, and that He Knows that I'm really sorry. I beseech Him that He Help me remember to always turn to Him. That He Help me remember how He helped me in the past and will surely Help me get through this too.
And I imagine to myself Hashem answering me in a comforting, loving way.
2 - Another thing that helps me is listening to music - slow, heartfelt, beautiful music. Not sad. This also brings me to lift my eyes to Hashem and feel connected to Hashem. As if I place my head on Hashem's Shoulder and feel secure.
3 - I must admit the credit for turning to Hashem goes to my darling Mother - may she have a long, healthy, simcha'dik life. She was r'l a young almanah and didn't let herself fall, but all the years with young children and then alone held on tenaciously to Hashem.
Which qualities do you consider makes a person a genuine friend?

When they need help, if I'm able to at the time I gladly help them.
I don't hold "cheshbonos", and if I helped s/one or did them a favor, and they say to me, "now I owe you one," I respond, "no, you don't. I was able to do you this favor and did it gladly."
In short, I don't help someone b/c they helped me. I help a person b/c I really want to, without any "cheshbonos" or feelings of obligation.
Do you like to chat on the phone when you're doing housework or d'you find it distracting and makes u work slower?

things that can annoy me or I can't bear them, but I don't get worked up about them -
- hearing someone cracking their knuckles (oooh!)
- people leaving their used tissues around or on the table (ugh!)

It depends how tired I am (and what kind of mood, I guess). Most times I really enjoy the funky-original-getting-to-know-different-sides-of-people-better-including-myself games (like this one). Sometimes all I have energy for are the fun word challenge games.
