...on Lag B'Omer? I'm a BT and I still love many types of secular music, so, not sure if it'll be rock oldies, classical, or Jewish music. But I usually pick out in advance what will be the first song or piece to end the drought!

I'm dying to listen to Al Kol Ele. I couldn't find it in an acapella version since it's not a Jewish song. I'm literally counting down the days.

LOL!

Occasionally when I get curious enough there's always websites like this one

His lyrics are beautiful. Honestly though his soul comes straight through even when you don't catch every word.

Achat shaalti by the Razel brothers with their father. I have such nachat listening to that song and seeing the video of them singing together. Imagine? A family of brothers all leviim singing for Hashem. It gives me hope for Mashiachs arrival soon.

I dunno, but I've been waiting to watch some musicals, and am so excited! (My rabbi holds that if one is stringent on music, one should be stringent on musicals, so...)

You mean the second piece of music, right? After our ears stop ringing from the booming loud R' Shimon Bar Yochai music around the big big fire?

Broke my "fast" from music with classical music. I was so tired of hearing vocal a cappella that I just wanted pure instruments!
