We have several sets of linen, not all the same color/s.

I boil up pasta in water then I add salt, then after cooking 11 minutes I drain the water. Then in the same pot without the pasta in it (its in the strainer) I put little milk, cheese and sauce and mix it and then pour the pasta back in to the pot. Yum 😋

I use cold milk. And I use pasta sauce or marinara. The marinara sauce has sugar and salt and I salt the pasta when its boiling.

June we end school and summer break is July August and school starts sept

I don't take for granted anymore that I don't have headaches. I used to have excruciating headaches and suffer every day. Now, after brain surgery I am grateful every single day 🙏 maybe I should change my username to show how grateful I am.

Any ideas of what my new username should be?

What's weird? That she was an Aunt? That you weren't told about the person you're named after?
Both not weird at all.

TPBM has many sets of twins in her and her husband's extended family.

Many families don't discuss with their children the people they're named after. Then there are families that do tell their children, esp. if it's a relative who the parents felt close to.

I was curious and asked my mother - I wanted to know about the person who's name I have the zchus as my identity. I'm named after my maternal great-grandmother, a"h.

Yes. Just in our immediate family and only the girls and women attend.
We make a birthday party and sing songs.
My married children each bring a food or nosh for the birthday.
If it's an adult's birthday we often turn it into a birthday supper, not just a party with junk food.
Every participant writes on a cutout colored cardboard a bracha for the one whose birthday we're celebrating. Then we put all the cutouts into an album and decorate it, for the birthday girl.
The birthday person wishes each participant a bracha. (It's written that a ba'al simcha has a special koi'ach to give brachas, that includes the birthday person too.)
Gifts are presented.
If a birthday of younger children we make them a birthday crown and write the new age on it, and we also invite some of their close friends and neighbor's children of the same age.
Birthdays of my teenage daughters, we might take them to the Kosel on the day or Kever Rachel.

When do you pack away the winter clothes, boots, blankets etc. and put the summr clothes in the cupboards?
