Sure. The purple cabbage salad is:
purple cabbage
hearts of palm
avocado
grape tomatos (can use strawberries for variation.)
Dressing:
3-4 cloves garlic
1/2 c ketchup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. oil (I use walnut but can be any)
1/2 c. viniger
1/2 c. sugar
Cabbage is shredded (obviously). I cut the hearts of palm in circles, the tomatos in halves and the avocado just in peices.
Enjoy. I like to serve it in a glass dish with a large surface area. Put down the cabbage first. Then make a ring (2 deep) of hearts of palm (looks better messy than even), around that I put a very even ring of cherry tomato halves (cut half facing down) and inside the hearts of palm I put the avocado in a little 'mound'. After everyon'e admired it (lol) I put hte dressing on and mix. ;-)
Ice cream recipe coming soon.

made VERY simple shabbos this week:
(preparation time about 1 hour)
NIGHT:
-------------
fish
soup with lockshen (noodles)
pepper steak
rice
cucumber salad
chocolate mousse
DAY:
-------------
fish
cholent
cucumber salad
sesame noodle salad (CS's recipe)
chicken caeser salad
potato salad
chocolate mousse
here's how/why it was so easy/hardly any preperation:
the following came straight out of my freezer: pepper steak, soup and lockshen.
sesame noodle salad I had made earlier in week.
I bought the potato salad, and grilled chicken (for caeser salad)
