Real smart. NY is already dying from restrictions. Let's also get rid of the rich people

"Just move to florida" just about says it all. This is getting so tiring. These policies are only getting worse by the day.

Is this tax raise just for the wealthy?
How much do you have to be earning to be in this tax bracket?

Genuinely asking- not snarking.
Do you truly believe that the tax increases stop with the 1%? And that only they will be affected if their taxes go up?

When the train comes in everyone rides. When the rich get richer the poor get richer, When the rich get poorer the poor get poorer

A tax hike on income over $5 million annually, which would increase the tax rate from 8.82% to 10.82% and generate an estimated $1.5 billion annually
A one-year delay of a small planned tax cut for the middle class, which would save the state $400 million

I’m sorry I’m not crying for those who earn over 5 million a year.

Don't worry. Plenty of others will be crying instead:
* Employees whose bosses no longer need them since they can hire people in Florida.
* Restaurant owners and servers who lose their customer base.
* Construction workers specializing in renovations or high-end development.
* Retailers and the employees they will lay off.
* Artisans who rely on projects from well-to-do clients.
* All the grocery stores, bodegas, and fruit markets serving those laid-off employees as well as the spouses and families who wonder how they'll pay their rent or mortgage.
* All the local charities that no longer have easy access to major donors.
With all those people shedding tears, yours will hardly be missed.

As usual fox you got it right. Reminds me of the debate when trump was trying to explain to Biden economics 101 and he just wasn’t getting it.
Well, with the democrats in power, say good bye to trickle down economics or any hope for a healthy economy.
People like “getreal” and Biden voters are looking to tax the rich, and cause us all to lose out along the way.
