Suh a sad episode. But I really think the whole bit with the baby in the gan was the fault of the gan. When someone, other than a parent, goes to gan to collect a child, the ganenot ask who they are there for. They dont just randomly take any kid. That was very strange.
And it seems like lipa really has one foot in the charedi world and another not so much. He seems very on the seesaw.
Moroccan Shira hinted that she was a tad mentally unbalanced on the date.
I think she's going to be a stalker- always there when Yossi turns around by mistake.
Or she'll pull a Leah on Shira 2 and somehow be the one under the veil.
Poor poor poor Uncle Nochum.
This season leaves me feeling physically drained.

Google Ochila Hillel Paley. There are lots of covers.
I know they needed the story for dramatic effect but you cant just pick up someone else's baby from daycare like that.
In charedi neighborhoods you often can. There's this assumption that frum people are all earnest and obviously this person is who he says he is. I have seen them not care one whit that a stranger picked up your child, but I think men are still a little more suspect than ladies.
However, some random guy getting handed a different child? Too weird.
And the revacha stealing a child and leaving the parents a note? Noooo.
Isn’t the story with her son going out with the wrong girl and wanting her, and Gitty hiding from her son that they found her reminiscent of what happened with their daughter when gitty didn’t want her marrying him either ?
Totally. I feel like they are repeating storylines. I dont know if this is on purpose to show that we never learn from our mistakes...
Storyline of Shulem calling a 30 year old woman (I forget her name) on some pretext, ordering tea, and then basically proposing to her, is repeated now with Nechama. In both case, the woman is shocked and says it never entered their minds, Shulem leaves in haste completely humiliated, and the woman is left alone with her tea.
Storyline of Gitty trying to sabotage her child's love interest, while Lipa privately sympathizes with the child, but then ends up doing Gitty's bidding. Both by Ruchami and now by Yossela.
Storyline of Akiva achieving matrimonial happiness and then losing it, is repeated with Elisheva and then Libby.
As an aside, Akiva seems like such a wishy-washy person when it comes to his art. He drives Kaufman crazy. He did this in season two with his grant and with going to America.
By the way, if Akiva ends up with Rachelli, how weird would it be to have paintings of the first wife on the wall? I dont think that would be ok.

Right, this story line was very strange to say the least. Most unrealistic thing yet. And not just in a charedi gan. Its an israeli value. Ive never had issues with someone else picking up my daughter when she was in gan. But to be given the wrong child? Literally makes no sense. You are asked who you came to pick up.
I thought that Libi had a mother in previous episodes, even though we never saw her.
Is this a new thing that she also died?
yes Libi and her mother obviously died simultaniously (maybe in a traffic accident)? because Shulem says „lost his wife and daughter 8 months ago“
she was there in Season 2. Libi says Tate promised to my mother not to come back without a shuduch

I‘m not sure they will end up together. Elishwva is playing too! I think she will come to celebrate her son‘s bar mitzwa!
I never understood what happened with Elisheva? Did they get married? Why did she leave Israel? I'm blanking. Probably bcz I never really saw them as a viable couple.
Libi on the other hand:(

they had a wort but Elishwva did not intended to get married. When Kive told Shulem about it he went to Elisheva and told her to let go of Kive if hse is not going to marry him. She immediately leaves for London with her child.

Akiva loves Elisheva at first sight and pursues her, but Elisheva tries to keep him at bay because she doesn't intend to get remarried. She had two husbands already who died and did not feel up to starting all over again with a third one. At first she does not allow herself to get emotionally involved with Akiva. Akiva meanwhile gets engaged to Esti (out of fear of hurting her, but really his heart is for Elisheva) and Elisheva has second thoughts now that she seems to have lost Akiva, and realizes that she does have feelings for him after all. Akiva ends up breaking the shidduch with Esti and is now free to pursue Elisheva again. The two play this game until finally Akiva proposes they get engaged just for the sake of having 6 months together as an engaged couple. Spending time together as an engaged couple is legit, whereas otherwise it is not appropriate. It's an unusual proposition, because it was just to gain time, but really it was playing with fire. The more the two of them spend time together, the more the situation becomes untenable. Akiva hopes that Elisheva will relent and agree to marry him, but Elisheva seems content to let things stay as they are. In a moment of dejection, Akiva confides to his father that Esti never intended to see it through to a wedding, hoping for some advice from his father. Instead, Shulem goes behind his back and tells Elisheva to get out of his son's life since she is messed up and messing with him. (Which, imho, is true). She feels so hurt and betrayed that she picks up and departs for London, only calling Akiva from the airport to coldly inform him that it's over.
I agree that they are not a good match. Akiva is too crazy over her to see that she is playing with him and his feelings. She is older and jaded, and still attached to her previous husbands. (She even keeps the apartment she lived in with them and has their tefillin)
Anyone else not able to get into any sdarot sites? We have tried a few and they all seems to have been taken down.
Now we will probably have to wait until it is on netflix.
All of the different sdarot links seem to not be working for many of us. Not sure if they have been taken down or just a fluke with some computers or something.
