Is it ok to leave one of those cotton mesh bags in cholent?

The ones that you would put chicken bones in let's say while you are cooking soup that are made for that purpose...Would it be ok to leave one in my cholent for 24 hours let's say??? I want to put a turkey drumstick in it so no bones separate into the cholent when it starts falling apart.

Why wouldn't it be ok? I put eggs in wrap n boil bags in the chalont.
