DH got me an Israeli salad with lemon juice in it. It's too strong but I really want to eat it! I usually like it with oil, salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder. I tried adding those but it's not helping. Any tips before I dump it?

Put it in a colander, and rinse it under cold water. Then add a teaspoon or so of mayo to mellow it out.
You could also mix it with couscous, quinoa, or rice, and make a more substantial salad. Just add a tiny dash of olive oil on top, and everything will taste nicely balanced.
Israeli salad with quinoa is my "go to" Pesach food. I'm not a fan of matza or heavy potato dishes, so this is perfect for when I have a starch craving, but want something light and healthy too.

You can drain the juice out. Rinse part of it and then add some oil
