no no not such a good sight my hubby would rather not have kids if he had to do all the holding, giving birth, and nursing. then again would we want to do all the pregnancy too if we knew that the man would be doing it? I don't think so.

If childbirth was shared btwn women and men (I.e. woman has 1 baby, man has 1 baby, woman, man etc) then there would be no family larger than 3 kids!!

supermom - very funny Every mom out there can appreciate that joke!! On a more serious note though - I'm still very happy to be a woman and go through the whole childbirth and childrearing than to be a man. I always think how my husband has many more responsibilities than I do. He davens 3 times a day with a minyan. He works really hard to support our family... While I have a few minutes a day (not hours!!) to visit this dear website!!

My husband is always saying: "what is the big deal about birth, just push the baby out and that is it."
in his defence I have short labour, but still veryyyyy painful.

reading the title to this thread I thought you were going to say something that has to do with people who say "we're pregnant" meaning husband and wife.
That always bugged me, why are men considered pregnant too, when we are carrying the weight, nausious, careful with food.....
