Devora told Esther:

I was 30 2 days ago and next year I’ll be 33.

Is it possible she’s saying the truth?

I suppose it depends on how you round and how you count your birthdays...

Hidden:

If you always round to the lower number till you reach a birthday, and if you mix jewish and gregorian calendar, it should be possible... or if you are born on the last day of the year?

Are you really? Is it a true riddle?

Reminding you to hide the answer.
My response to your answer is
Hidden:

Why Gregorian calendar needed for this riddle? It should work with any calendar.

And no it’s not based on my birthday. Let me change my original wording.

This is a very cute answer but why don’t you stick to your first answer? I think you were 99.99% right.

Here’s the answer.
Hidden:

Her birthday is Dec 31.
Today is Jan 1. 2021
2 days ago she was 30. Yesterday she was 31.
Dec 31 2021 she’ll be 32
Dec 31 2022 she’ll be 33
Which is truthfully next year according to this date!

You were technically right with your first answer. However it can work with any calendar.
I’d give you a nice extra credit meme if I’d know how to post one. Laugh
Good night!

What? You are still awake? Not already?

I got the part
Hidden:

about the last and first day of the year, but I did not think that the penultimate made all the difference...

So: no credit for me...

Already awake a while. Hence the coffee question on the other thread. Confused
Alright so I’m only giving you some credit.
Riddle: how much credit do you get for the answer you provided? 50%? 80%? Other?

First 2 digits plus the second 2 digits minus 2nd number in the equation (14+35-2)
