Twins are nice in someone else's carriage. Yes twin girlies are adorable but my babies have reflux, they keep crying in beginning, have to keep changing them....

No, but a close family member does, apparently a sail yacht...
Always invites me to go on it with him, but I'm afraid he will throw me into the sea and sail away...

Did you ever try sailing? Did you like it?

I did. With my brother. I threw him into the sea.

Did you ever try fishing?

Yes, but not with a fishing rod, only with a little net. When I was a child, I could go camping with a friend and her parents... at a lake... so we fished little fish out of the water with those little nets or even just with a bucket and fried them for dinner...

No, I love watching others do it though. I’ve done with the net too. Just for the fun and then threw the fish or frogs or dirt back into the water.

What type of sukkah do you have?

Simple sukka, DIY, no roof for rain, not winterproof...

Self-made frame from thin wooden slats, a cube of 2x2x2,40 m.
Around, for the wall, a tight bamboo fence, 2m hight...

S'chach every year new from trimmings, since it's the season of trimming trees...

1 table for 8-10 persons max on benches on both sides of the table... no room for anything else...

Decoration hanging from above: shiva minim in little bags...

Do you prefer early or late Rosh hashana?

We never had early so it’s not like I ever tried both, but early sounds nice.

Do you prefer Yom tov or regular routine?

Yom tov. But when it's over I'm also happy to go back to normal...

Do you like to delve into the intricacies of the jewish calender (how it's calculated, etc.)?

Oh I’d choose November if I’d be given the choice. On the other hand, this sad year can’t come to an end soon enough.

Nah, I wouldn’t enjoy delving into calendars. Ice cream on the other hand...

Do you aspire to be like anyone?

No, I'm happy to be myself...

when I was a teen I had aspirations for celebrity, world class sports or musician... but only in my fantasy, no chance of achieving it in real life... but I somehow found that only world champions (or perhaps nobel laureates) were really worth while... meanwhile, I changed my mind. It's nice to be nice, anonymous, average, with responsibilities only towards people you really care for and vice-versa...

Do you enjoy learning perush rashi on chumash?

No, but I bought my rimon today. Does that count?

Were you the one asking about yomtov-menu?
Here is my plan for the first night:

simanim.
Salmon

pumpkin soup

chicken with honey and orange slices (from roman claypot)
red cabbage with apple and wine (also from claypot)
sweet potatoes (also from clay pot)
rice persion style (from plata)

apple sauce
honey cookies with almond paste
tea

How many people will probably be around your table first rosh hashone night?

No menu yet=no cooking yet. You are making me have a complex already.

Are you a very advanced type?

Just finished bedtime with a few kids.

What’s the last time you wanted to punch someone?

Theoretically or practically?
Practically not since my childhood.
Metaphorically speaking today, someone who is avoiding my calls and mails... wanted to punch (not in real life, of course) the person for their lack of responsability and cowardly behavior...

How do you react when you learn that someone has been badmouthing you behind your back?

I meant theoretically

I would be hurt. I’d wanna punch them. Practically! Laugh

What do you think people say about you behind your back?

I don't think that I'm so interesting that there is much conversation going on about me, honestly... and if mostly trivial things, I suppose...

Do you try and keep hilchot lashon hara? successfully?
