I am so curious to know what the "norm" is with regard to changing linen.

I like this one!! I was hoping more ppl. would vote for every 3/4 weeks, so I won't feel guilty about waiting 2 weeks!

how do you have the time to do the linens every week?!!
I have a hard enough time getting all the laundry done without adding an extra load each week.
I wont tell you how often I change my linens.

Yael I think you misunderstood, I am not talking about pillows and blankets, quilts.

Why so shocked? Linen is not so different from clothes! You sleep in it for however many hours every single night!

Linen is different than clothes, you don't wear your linen, you lay on them while in your PJs.

Saying "obviously" puts everyone in the world who is different than you on the defensive...
I end up changing all the sheets about every other week, but ideally I would do it every week.

I would love to do the linen every week, but its not just the extra loads of laundry. It's stripping the beds and blankets, laundring, and then putting evrything back on - including blanket covers which I hate doing. so, unfortunately, until I get a live-in ( ) it will have to be changed every other week.

I agree....... the actual washing of the linen is no big deal-- it's the remaking of the beds that I am not a big fan of!!!!!!
(that's why I'm always grateful when company comes right before my cleaning help..... that way I have the sheets washed in time for her to remake the beds!)
