What can I make as a side dish for cholent on Shabbos day that I don't have to reheat? We're not huge fans of potato kugel, but something similar would be good.

Noodles?
I cook up some noodles, then fry some onions and peppers. Then mix together, equal amounts olive oil and soy sauce, and half that amount of sugar and a little bit of garlic powder.
Add the onions and peppers to the noodles, toss with the sauce and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top for garbish.
Can be served warm or room temp.

I serve either a big salad or a few little salads. Depends on how much time I have. You can google entree salad for ideas. I treat the cholent as more of a side dish and the salad and fish as the main course.

how about a salad with grilled chicken, steak, or deli - with vegies and dressing and something crunchy.
