It's our minhag to go erev YK and I was in a different city than where I live. The women were wrapped in white sheets. I was in my first trimester with my first pregnancy, and I thought I'm going to die waiting on those loooooong lines. Everything about that scene was surreal. Finally I overheard women talking about some women cutting the lines because they're pregnant. I was so shy in this strange place, but I mustered the courage to ask those women where I should go if I feel like I'm fainting because I'm pregnant. Bh she was helpful, and I got out of there fast but not soon enough.
