Okay this may sound wierd but this is not the first time either that I have heard of this happening before. People claim that they see things day or night and they thing it is a shin daled.

like someone just told me yesterday one night he woke up from somebody knocking at his door just to see a figure on top of him with a bloody knife over his head.

Another person told me that they put a sand box under their bed and in the morning they saw foot prints.

Another person said that while they were in a closed room with no air coming in she felt as if someone tapped her and when she tried to run out of the room the door was locked, and she claims she never locked the door.

Another person claims that when she was younger she saw something flying across the room out of nowhere and when she approached the thing it lay lifeless on the floor, it must have been a big piece of a cotton ball.

Am I wierd to believe these people or could these things really happen.

hmmmm....
there's more between heaven and earth then we know, I do believe that... but some of the examples you give... I don't know.
but I do believe ppl sometimes have extra sensitiviy and will experience things others won't

in any case, I don't believe you are weird!

I just spoke to my husband and he told me that in the gemara it says if you put sand by your bed at night when you wake up you will find chicken feet marks in the sand because those shin daleds feet are in the shape of chicken feet. so this person must have not been out of his wits end.

you guys should try it just at your own risk since you might not want to sleep the next night over.

Supermom honest now was that a dream u were referring to or someone playing a hoax on you. Yes these things do happen but that everyone tells you.

Supermom - I know that gemara and it does not refer to sand. It is a very particular mixture which must be made in to ashes (from memory). It involves the inside of a pregnant cat's stomache lining (must be pregnant with female too if I'm not mistaken), amongst other things.

trust me if this person gets up in the night with a figure of some type of person with a bloody knife all I can say is thank goodness them not me I won't be able to sleep for a lifetime and neither would you. or unless I am wrong.

I'm wary of believing things like this but really, who knows? in my last apartment, when I was standing over the kitchen sink, I always felt like someone was tapping my shoulder for me to turn around, but of course no one was there. then one day I saw my husband turning around at the sink and I asked him why. he told me he thought I tapped his shoulder. he also told me that wasn't the first time it happened to him, so you never know.

Dear supermom,
I M VERY VERY UPSET THAT YOU DID NOT PUT A WARNING BEFORE YOUR MESSAGE. I read your message in the evening and it shook me up. if you want to start a horror thread than do so but PLEASE PUT A WARNING SO that people who just handle reading these kind of things because their mind starts comming up with very scary images and klipa takes over don't have to suffer and can go to sleep normaly. to the moderators I don't think this is appropriate for a frum forum to talk about because it brings on kipadike ideas and especialy during the 3 weeks and 9 days period.

YES I THINK TALKING ABOUT TUMA AND THESE KIND OF THINGS IS NOT APPROPRIATE. I SUFFER A LOT BECAUSE before I became frum my 'frum' friends at one of their birthday partys had me watch a horror movie which til this day makes me sick and eraly affects me psychologicaly. WHATS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND??? I also was nearly killed in a war so any of this kind of things I just can't tolerate all I m asking is to put a warning like some people do when they start a thread whcih may be offensive or whatever. THANK YOU FOR CARYING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLES SENSETIVITIES

I just went through a lot in life. would you show a terror movie to a child in israel who went through a terro attack no! right well when I read these kind of posts it brings up very very scary and unpleasant things in my mind and the movie I watched was not my choice I didn't want to watch it and I had no idea what it was I didn't even understand half of it since I didn't speak english well than at all but the images did enough damage for the rest of my life. as I said I went through a war and was nearly killed have seen a lot things from which hashem should protect you all. all I ask for is some sensetivity thats it. please remember I m a human being and I will not reveal myself obviously because I don't want people to know who I am even though I have revealed some parts of my life here that would give me away.oh well. yes if you have never went through an experience like that or you have a mind that doesn't bother you with unwanted things and doesn't create images than B'H hashem didn't give you this test, but he gave to others so don't make it harder thank you

Amother, I'm sure we are all very sorry for the traumatic things you have experienced in your life. Unfortunately, it was not possible for anyone to know that someone on the forum has suffered in this way, and not surprising that it didn't occur to anyone that someone might find these sorts of things scary.

Unfortunately, the same thing might happen in the future, since it's difficult for someone who hasn't been traumatized to imagine what might scare someone who has. So please accept our apologies in advance...
