So now that there is a curfew in effect I’m wondering what would be the punishment for violating it. Is it a fine? do you get arrested ? Will I get a warning ?

And also like will there be police officers walking around borough park enforcing the curfew or that will only be done in high risk areas?

Why are you going to violate the curfew?
If you violate, you'll be asked to go home. If you refuse, you'll be given a summons.
It will be enforced most heavily in high risk areas. OTOH, we don't want police ignoring it elsewhere, which would draw looters to areas with low enforcement levels.
And from what I've read, you're still allowed to go to the mikvah or (permitted) maariv.
HTH.

It's class b misdemeanor with up to 3 months in jail and $500 fine.
I can't find the source right now but that's what I read yesterday.
They don't plan to enforce it on religious services, grocery shoppers, essential workers, people seeking medical attention, and homeless people.
