I heard they were thinking of doing this, but wasn't sure if it went through or not. Conceptually I like the idea of having more daylight later on in the day, as it might help my moods during that time of year. But the real cold and dark months of Dec, Jan, and Feb are not affected.
I hate the transition, though. Takes me at least a week to adjust and my kids never adjusted - they still go to bed very late and wake up later in the am.

It hasn't been passed yet, you know, just got through committee, which is not the same thing. I doubt the bill will pass both houses of Congress. When they tried it in the 70's it was a disaster.
