I saw a lot of ads this week advertising local hotels in Israel instead of programs abroad. I think the tourist agencies hope they can fill local hotel vacancies due to cancellations of foreigners with locals who canceled trips abroad.
Honestly, I don’t think I’d stay at a hotel now. I’d just cancel and put the moneys towards cleaning help.
I figure that if by some miracle this is all over by Pesach hotels will be giving amazing deals to regain trust.

Think best for everyone to stay home, with family, small contained private environment. Would not go to hotel at this time.

I think I'd cancel, and put the money toward a really meshubach pesach! But I've never gone away to a pesach hotel, so I might be missing the hype.
Alternatively: rent a nice tzimmer with a pool, order catering, and have a private, fun, chag kasher vesaneach!
