Same here. I called the heath department and asked to be tested. They said "Have you been to Italy?" and I said "no", so they said "then you probably have a cold." and hung up on me. (I'm in Israel)

So, I may have a cold, the flu, or Coronavirus. There is no way to tell for sure unless I end up in the hospital CVS.

There are also people with strong immune systems who can be "silent carriers". They can pass on the virus without ever showing any symptoms at all.

I'm choosing to quarantine myself until I'm feeling 100% better. B'H, my wonderful neighbors have stocked my fridge with chicken soup and fresh stuff to make salads. They are leaving things at the gate outside my courtyard, and I go out to get it when they leave.

When someone has the flu, they shouldn’t be out and about infecting other people, either.

I don’t understand- if they are not testing people with no known exposure, how did Lawrence Garbuz get diagnosed in the first place if he has no known exposure, either?

Because once they’re hospitalized they’re tested. That’s why the rates for hospitalization with coronavirus are so high in NY- it’s the most reliable way to be tested.

9 out of those 10 if not all 10 were from one old age home in Seattle.
Old people are much more likely to die from it and that old age home needs to seriously disinfect.

These numbers are so not accurate because so so many people are not being tested and may be carriers or may have it but they don’t suspect anything so they’re not asking to be tested etc etc.
