Johns Hopkins university is tracking the COVID-19 spread in real-time on the interactive dashboard with data available for download. They are also modeling the spread of the virus.

Correction. 380 members
When you include kids it’s 1000 .
They have assistant rabbis and youth leaders
Young Israel of Scarsdale which does not have the carona virus has many members and an assistant rabbi

They don’t give out as much information as they do in ny
I’m westchester twice a day they report how many cases and in which areas

I think people need to be careful of how many zeros they put in when typing on the phone. The amount of people in quarantine seems to vary between 100 to 1,000 - and now 10,000. It might be a large shul, but I doubt they have that many members. Inflating numbers - even by mistake - also inflates unnecessary panic.

Thank you for posting .
I am soo stressed 😩 over this.
Anywhere you look the numbers are just going up. And although in NY there are no deaths yet reported, there are no recoveries yet either.
As far as I understand it’s 70 cases in Westchester county, and more spread out in other counties, for a total of 89 in Ny State.
There are cases in NJ as well.

Being waiters at the barmitzvah the lawyer from newrochelle of young isreal attended the rabbi and his wife have it the lawyer remains in the hospital in ny

Honestly I don't think any of this tracking is worth much. I currently have symptoms of the flu but tested negative for flu. No one (doctor, health officials etc) thinks I should be tested for corona. There are many others like me who are not being tested either. That means we have no real idea of what is going on.

Its useless cuz they're not sharing how many are being tested.

South Korea is testing 10,000 people a day.

USA is testing 100.

Gives you no idea of reality. Lots of people in ICU not being given tests because no known contact.

This is not a cold. High fever, body aches, bad cough. What under other circumstances doctors would label like flu but viral. Exactly, we don't know which virus.

I'm fine with not being tested, but I'm just trying to say that if I and others like me are not being tested, then no one should kid themselves that they are tracking this thing.

Or they stop fooling people into thinking they can track or contain it....

Seriously, I'm treating it like I have the flu and being extra careful with germs, but I'm not gonna quarantine myself for 14 days if I don't have a test. And no one is telling me to. Not my doctor, not my work, so how exactly is this thing supposed to stay under control?

I'm not saying I have it, I'm just saying that there can be many people in my condition that are probably being overlooked and therefore there is no way that this can be tracked or contained.
