I read an article that included a prediction by some scientists that the new strain of coronavirus may become just another winter virus that we will need to deal with on a seasonal basis, like the common cold family of viruses and influenza.

If this outbreak dies out soon (which hopefully it will, they're saying if it can be contained until the summer then maybe it will peter out in the warmer weather) then all the naysayers will turn around and say that all this panic was for nothing, when in fac t it's only having these measures that will have stopped it from spreading.

There is no reason to believe that you won’t be infected by Corona virus because you’re white. Or Black. Or, as one group argued, Muslim.

It couldn't possibly be worse than this bug that I have. I feel lousy. Someone who had Corona virus was interviewed and said it wasn't as bad as other respiratory illnesses that he has had. He had a low grade fever and tightness in his chest with a dry cough.

We need to do our hishtadlus - wash our hands thoroughly when we come home, wash before handling food/eating...
Follow directions from NY Dept of Health - if they give any.

And most importantly is to daven that this virus end and we should all be spared.

Yes we need trust everything is from Hashem he protects and he loves us and wants the best for us.Any suffering is to elevate us really.

Do take precautions though stay away from people with flu and cough breathing problems. Hv
