Ok, I figured out our menu, since it's just DH and I and neither of us eat so much, it's smaller than usual:
Dinner:
-homemade chalah from freezer
-dips
-purple cabbage salade
-chicken soup with carrots
-meatballs
-rosemary garlic potatoes
-steamed green beans with garlic
-big fresh green salad with avoc, peppers, cuc, tom, carrots, slivered almonds, terra strips, and dried cranberries
No dessert, DH is always too full, but if he wants it I have some extra ice cream and choc chip cookies in the freezer - Oh, but we are going to a shalom zachor so he can also eat dessert there
lunch:
-challah from freezer
-pickles
-cherry chicken wrapped in mallawach dough
-big taco salad
-choc chip cookies |
Sarahliz, this looks like such a great salad! What kind of dressing do you use?

naaaah
I'm very fussy when it comes to choc., believe it or not.
I have to do the shopping tonite, make the fish and challah, take a shower, and finish the laundry and make beds.
I'm gonna work until 1 PM tomorrow & I have a commute home - so, as I said, it's prob. not gonna happen.

I need to remind myself not to read this thread when I'm hungry!!! You all make such elaborate yummy dinners!!
Nothing but soups and mushy type stuff for us. DH had all his infected wisdom teeth pulled last week. Ouch.

Esa, the recipe is from the Spice n Spirit but I'll post it for you. I LOVE them - choc & peanut butter, what better combo
1 1/2 cups peanut-butter
1/2 cup softened margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups confectioners sugar
Knead together above ingredients to form a firm dough. Shape into balls on a tray.
6 oz baking chocolate
2 tablespoons margarine
Melt together in a double-boiler. Dip each ball into chocolate and place on tray. Refrigerate.
Yum! Enjoy!
