This question has been keeping me up at night. I'm so glad you raised the subject.

Maybe you can wrap the pet's food up in gold foil so it looks like chanuka gelt?

My aunt said her dog wasn't Jewish so he got a stocking with treats in it.

I've given my Christian neighbors special x-mas doggie and cat treats. Our local pet store sells all that silly stuff, so Fido and Fluffy don't feel left out on the holiday.

They've given my kids special holiday-related gifts for Jewish holidays, so it seemed like the thing to do.

Weird coincedence... I orginised a bunch of people to make latkes for our shul party today. One of them proudly pulls out the toy animal she bought for her dog!

You know, brooklyn is right. PETA would also agree. My sister is the owner of a Jewish-American cockatiel that gets better medical care than most of Americas children. What do you buy the bird that has everything?

Bring them to my house. They might wind up catching a cute little mouse, and I could use the help.

A fake mouse? So lame! At my place, they can not only catch them, bat them around a bit, but they can eat them! Yum yum.

Truth be told, I do save the mice. I catch them in live have-a-heart traps I buy from Peta. When we catch one, we set them free. And I swear, I've never eaten one of them! Smile

I had a smart mouse that would eat the peanutbutter or cookie ... and leave the trap ...
