They probably wouldn’t appreciate something that would make their baby look like a Lakewood baby. They are young, wealthy (so they don’t need my money as a gift) and they are super cool.
I would need to ship it to them (they are not from Lakewood).

Maybe a cool toy for the baby, like for age 6 months & up - depending on your price range, I'm sure you'll find lots of things.

I want to get them an actual gift, not a gift card or money.
I think I prefer clothing- something very in style.
I would spend around $100.
Since I didn’t have a baby in many years (and I’m not so in style), I don’t even know where to go.

Dunno where u live. Check Babylicious, Panda and Cub, or Tiptoe
The problem with clothing is 1)you dont know if they'll like it 2)you dont know if they already have it 3)the baby will outgrow it tomorrow

I would get something useful like a few sleep sacks or nice Velcro swaddles or a good baby monitor with a camera etc on amazon that could be returned in case they prefer something else.

what about a really trendy diaper bag? try juvenile planet, or little loungers.
also maybe a bundle me, I go that as a gift and loved it. a nice brand name one is about $100

If it is being shipped out of NJ, there is no tax on the purchase. We bought from them.

I just had this situation with a nephew whose wife gave birth and I went to an accessories store and got an assortment.
